MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development of communication strategy and communication plan for PIN SK mission in Ukraine in cooperation with the Head of the Mission and Communication Department in Slovakia
  • Close cooperation and coordination with HQ Communication Department in Slovakia
  • Content creation, collecting stories and information from the field
  • Communication with the media, building relations with journalists, representing the mission and issuing press releases
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining social media for PIN SK mission in Ukraine
  • Media monitoring in Ukraine, maintaining good relations with media and relevant stakeholders
  • Cooperation with media teams within the People in Need branch
  • Ensuring compliance with the PIN SK communication principles, providing media induction to newcomers and volunteers
  • Ensuring visibility of the organisation

MAIN REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in the field of PR, communications and social media
  • Excellent knowledge of Ukrainian language, fluency in English
  • Excellent communication skills and creativity
  • Good knowledge of the Ukrainian media scene and relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to work with photographs, audiovisual content and related software is an advantage

PIN SK OFFERS

  • Salary 1 000 EUR gross/month based on your experience and PIN’s salary scale (for full-time),
  • Opportunities for learning, trainings and capacity development;
  • 20 – 25 days of paid leave annually (depends on how old are you)
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses with travel to the country of residence once per every 6 months of completed work
  • Active participation in PIN SK growth and development as one of the biggest Slovakian humanitarian responder in Ukraine
