In order to digitally enable the delivery of World Vision’s strategy, Our Promise, Global Technology & Digital Solutions (GTD) has embarked on several strategic change initiatives.

As Communications Manager II, you will be responsible for ensuring quality communications to support these change initiatives, which include the implementation of global technology platforms, data services, digital innovations, and initiatives that aim to increase digital literacy and dexterity in the partnership. You will promote having a mindset of Unity & Trust as stakeholders from all levels across the partnership are steered towards a common understanding and appreciation of the various initiatives to be implemented.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Solid experience working in communications, preferably in a global and multi-cultural environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous situations
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts in a global non-profit environment
  • Experience with digital transformations in a large-scale organization a plus
