Who is Project Armonia?
We are a grassroots organisation acting in solidarity with people on the move to promote equal access to nutrition and education.
For the past two years, we have operated a free-restaurant that served over 1000 healthy and nutritious meals per day to people on the move on the hotspot island of Samos. We have worked with a diverse team of 29 different nationalities.
Now, we have a new exciting challenge ahead! We are currently setting up a new project in the city of Athens.
Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for a creative yet analytical individual to join our team, who understands the techniques of online communications, networking and fundraising.
Job description:

Online networking and creating new partnerships to spread the word about our work
-
Writing and distributing our monthly newsletter
-
Managing website maintenance & updates (WordPress, Elementor)
-
Serve as a point of contact for media and public questions
-
Support with drafting donor and annual progress reports
-
Support with grant-writing and donor relation building
-
Coordinating content development and graphics for communication purposes
-
Coordinating fundraising campaigns and materials and ensuring their timely delivery
-
Revising and putting in place social media strategies
-
Implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of communications campaigns and strategies
Essential Requirements
-
Fluency in written and spoken English
-
Three years of professional experience working in a communications/media/fundraising role
-
Demonstrable experience of writing effective, thoughtful, high-quality content
-
Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail

Ability to work well, both independently and within a team

Able to act on own initiative and take responsible decisions

Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional and personal development

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities
Desired skills & experience

Fluency in German
-
Experience in working in non-profit/ non-governmental sector

Strong knowledge and understanding of the political context in which we operate

Ability to create visually compelling content
