We are KAYA, a new organisation starting in Berlin, which is commencing work on
nature conservation and landscape restoration in sub–Saharan Africa. We are building our head office team and
looking for people who would like to join us in various roles as soon as
possible.
Tasks
- Build the communication and marketing strategy
- Create communication and marketing content in support from the Climate Office
- Steer the positioning of the organisation in support from the Managing Director and the Climate
Office
- Design and post-produce the communication and marketing content and material
- Manage the communication and marketing channels
- Steer the design and development of the website
Requirements
- Over three years of experience in creating and managing communication content and material
- Familiarity with design tools is desirable
- Willingness to live and work in Berlin
- Willingness to travel overseas for work, especially to sub–Saharan Africa
- Openness and adaptability to the atmosphere at a start-up
- Professional references
- In addition to English fluency, languages desired are French, Portuguese, and/or Spanish
- Education in communication, marketing, design, or media is desirable
- Knowledge of climate protection and landscape restoration is a plus
