Commodity Manager (f/m/d) Temporary Labor for Indirect Material

As Commodity Manager for Temporary Labor you are working within a day across all lifecycle stages of commercial opportunities. By analyzing spend and contract data, you identify commercial opportunities to drive Siemens Energy forward. With your creative und pragmatic ideas you can develop plans to exploit these commercial opportunities. Your collaborative way-of-working while developing these plans with cross-functional stakeholders makes you a valued member of our team. Furthermore, you have the ability to negotiate your plans with suppliers and get your targets through. Additionally, you have a good feeling for business and stakeholder needs to satisfy their demands.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Define and implement negotiation concepts and strategies to maximize savings as well as to drive material efficiency measures to achieve the maximum contribution to the targets
• Work with a Relationship Management of a diverse set of suppliers with activities such as evaluations, negotiations, claim- and contract management
• Build and maintain strong international working relationships with key business stakeholders to be an accepted business partner
• Identify proactively market risks or chances and turn them into supply opportunities (e.g. supplier innovations/ risk mitigation)
• Negotiating favorable contract & commercial terms and conditions
• Monitoring of existing/new frame agreements for revealing commercial opportunities
• Ensuring new service model from local representatives to new concept
• Development of commodity strategy with local HR stakeholder
• Coordination of future BPO/MSP operating model in the respective region

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, law or equivalent
• Several years of experience in related SCM functions, especially in the environment of contingent work / temp labor, consulting, and technical services
• Excessive experience with developing commodity strategies and contracting within a large corporate environment
• Outstanding analytical and commercial skills, combined with a pragmatic approach
• Effective negotiation and conflict management skills
• Good portion of self-confidence, strong communication skills and social aptitude
• Feeling for the “right tone” for communicating across all levels of organization
• Sufficient contract and legal knowledge
• Fluent in English and German written and spoken
