Digital communication collaborator (m/f/x)

Part-time (80%) and permanent contract

Help us fight poverty and inequality by putting your skills to good use! Oxfam is looking for a digital communication collaborator for the Communication department in Brussels.

What is the function?

As a digital communication collaborator, you are part of our communication department and the digital team. You are responsible for the development, implementation and execution of Oxfam’s digital strategy and the resulting communication actions or campaigns. You manage our digital channels and promote the operations and activities of Oxfam Belgium to the general public. You use state-of-the-art knowledge of digital communication techniques.

Your responsibilities:

· You ensure the consistency of digital communication. Together with your team leader (or department head), you make the right decisions about which channels to use. You oversee the digital strategy and annual planning.

· You are responsible for writing and publishing content on the various digital channels: websites, newsletter, social media and the Google Network (in collaboration with the editor and other services).

· You are responsible for the structure and consistency of website information according to the communication plan and SEO needs.

· You manage social media channels Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin (based on content planning), increase interaction and are responsible for conversation management and monitoring.

· You create effective online campaigns around our themes and objectives (awareness, action, sales, fundraising, etc.).

· You create impactful digital content in words and images and can turn ideas into creative visual content.

· You write and create promotional newsletters. You send the newsletters to the different segments.

· You report our digital results based on available statistics. (Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, e-mail platform, etc.).

· You train your colleagues and our volunteers in digital channels, provide them with support and advice.

Your profile :

· You have knowledge and experience (minimum 1 year) in digital communication in a communication service or a communication agency.

· You have knowledge of current communication strategies and channels, with regards to email marketing/automation, social media and websites.

· You hold a bachelor’s degree in communication or equivalent experience and have an affinity for digital communication and marketing;

· You have a strong affinity with ICT (information and communication techniques) and knowledge and/or work experience with CRM.

· you can work on a website (CMS: Drupal and WordPress).

· You have knowledge of UX.

· You have a broad knowledge of Google products (SEA, Analytics, tag manager, Youtube, etc.).

· You have good knowledge of Facebook Business Manager.

· You have a good pen and a precise and convincing style. You know all the requirements of a good SEO web copy.

· Knowledge of graphics programs is recommended.

· Knowledge of e-commerce is recommended.

· You have a perfect knowledge of French and Dutch as well as a very good knowledge of English.

· You are a team player. You are a team player and work seamlessly with other departments as well as with our volunteers.

· You have a systematic and precise approach. You develop projects independently.

· You are proactive and creative

Oxfam offers you:

· A part-time contract (80%) for an indefinite period

· A gross monthly salary aligned with the NGO sector (min €1,900.09 and max €3,163.47 for 30 years of relevant experience).
