Investment Analyst

The Investment Analyst is an active member of the deal teams and will engage across all functions of the firm gaining exposure to the entire deal process from origination and due-diligence through deal structuring and post-investment portfolio management. Ideal candidates will display strong initiativive, have a tremendous work ethic, and a high level of maturity.

Responsibilities
Assist with all aspects of the firm’s business, from evaluating and executing platform and add-on investments to monitoring portfolio companies
Identifying, sourcing, and working on the structuring and execution of M&A transactions – both new investmnets and add-on acquisitions for portfolio companies
Evaluate potential transactions and perform detailed financial and business due diligence
Participate in structuring and raising equity and debt financing for acquisitions
Identify and evaluate add-on acquisition oppoirtunities for portfolio companies
Build financial models for new investments and operating models for existing investments
Prepare investor presentations and communications material for new and existing investments
Working with portfolio companies on strategic and financial initiatives, including development, tracking, and management of KPIs and other key measurements
Monitoring portfolio company performance post-investment
Participating in meetings with management teams, M&A intermediaries and financing, and financing sources
Participate in marketing activities and new deal generation with investment bankers, brokers, and other professional relationships
Participating in exit monetization processes (recaps, sales proceesses, etc.)

Qualifications
Consistent track record of high achievement, both professionally and academically
1-3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction services, corporate development, and/or management consulting
Strong proficiency with financial modeling and analysis
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with polished Excel and PowerPoint abilities
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Entrepreneurial-minded and results-oriented individual with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
