Description Of The Role

Client Services, EMEA is a key, day-to-day point of contact for clients and plays a critical and primary role in the onboarding and ongoing servicing of new and existing clients. The individual will partner with the Sales and Investment Teams, among others, from the prospect to client phase and will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships and the ongoing delivery of client solutions that meet or exceed client expectations. A small component of the role will involve the identification of new business opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Excellence in Client Service – .Proactive relationship management; Ability to build long-term relationships with key stakeholders; Ensure client requests are responded to in an accurate and timely manner; Work with colleagues to gather information and perform analysis to execute specific requests and inquiries; Escalate and articulate client issues and requests to management and other PineBridge constituents and be innovative in crafting a solution;
  • Client Implementation and Relationship Building – Partner with the Sales and Investment Teams for the on-boarding of new mandates through effective coordination and project management; Provide consistent oversight of relationships to ensure a positive experience which promotes growth of the relationship over time; Demonstrate strong product and industry knowledge; Coordinate and participate in portfolio, due diligence and service review meetings with clients, as required.
  • Internal Partner within PineBridge – Provide support to members of the Client Service Team with follow-up, back-up or other functions which may be required on an ad hoc basis; Build strong working relationships with internal PineBridge teams in order to provide timely responses to requests from clients, internal colleagues or PineBridge management; Identify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions.
  • Client Database Maintenance – Utilize and assist with creating processes, enhancements and testing of in-house software databases to administer client data and process flows, such as onboarding’s; Management and oversight of client data, including client profiles, correspondence, call/activity reports and other relevant data so that data and lists generated for management, client inquiries, invitations, external communications, reports and clients presentations reflect accurate information and are sent to the correct individuals.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience of relationship management/client relations experience in the financial services industry.
  • A client-focused, team-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once.
  • Proactive and highly self-motivated individual with excellent organization and management skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of investments, industry legal and regulatory concepts and compliance and operational requirements.
  • Excellent written and oral communications, including presentation/public speaking skills, as well as strong interpersonal and client service skills.
  • Strong negotiation and analytic skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different work groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to speak two to three European languages desirable
  • Degree or equivalent
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must have right to work in Switzerland
