Job Description

Summary:

The Client Services Manager Team Lead will lead the workflow and process for a team of Client Service Assistants. This role will directly support a team of Wealth Advisors in serving existing and prospective clients. The position coordinates various tasks, including participating in investment reviews and preparing financial projections using eMoney financial planning software.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manages the workflow and process for a team of Client Service Assistants.
  • Has primary responsibility for overseeing the new client onboarding process.
  • Coordinates and provides training and support to other Wealth team members.
  • Identifies and recommends process and procedural improvements.
  • Proactively communicates with clients to obtain financial information and required documentations.
  • Supports Wealth Advisors in serving clients by preparing for meetings, assisting with preliminary financial planning recommendations, coordinating marketing events, etc.
  • Assists in the preparation and follow-up meetings, including preparation of proposals, applications and transfer paperwork.
  • Attends client and prospect meetings and the team’s internal book of business review meetings.
  • Ensures client notes are maintained in Salesforce.
  • Researches and responds to inquiries regarding client accounts.
  • Inputs information into eMoney and prepares financial plans.
  • Handles new user set ups on eMoney and client online access.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to lead and manage a process workflow, including directing the work priorities of other team members
  • Thorough understanding of documentation required for client accounts including but not limited to account opening and account closing paperwork as well as Investment Policy Statements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience working in a fast paced, high volume, customer-centric environment
  • Ability to work both independently as self-starter and a team environment
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Thorough knowledge of bank operations, products and services offered at the bank
  • Thorough knowledge of the rules relating to the Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering / Know Your Customer / Beneficial Ownership

  • None

Education And/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required and five to seven years of related experience
  • Experience leading a team and/or process management preferred

Computer And Software Skills

  • Proficient with using Microsoft Office products
  • Familiar with Google-based products (Gmail, Google Drive, etc.) preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce, SEI Advisor, Fidelity, eMoney or similar wealth planning software

Certificates, Licenses And Registrations

  • Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional or similar designation preferred
