Claims Fraud Support Administrator – 12 Months FTC

Role purpose:

To be a key contributor towards the continued success of Claims Fraud by providing operational support to Claims Fraud Negotiators and Leaders.

Accountabilities:

  • To support Claims Fraud Negotiators, and Leaders, with the smooth allocation of suspect claims
  • To support colleagues with maintaining accurate records, ongoing file maintenance and closure of files
  • Positively contribute to operational performance through meeting deadlines and meeting Key Performance Indicators
  • To maintain administration duties, including but not limited to; printing, copying, e-mailing, claims processing allocation of work
  • Ensure new Litigated matters reach the right person swiftly and first time
  • To instruct and liaise with our Legal Panel on new litigated matters
  • Complete and record accurate performance information and assist with the collation of Management Information
  • To help process ad-hoc tasks that may present themselves to the teams
  • Be responsible for payment of fees to our suppliers
  • To log, and retrieve, data from government portals e.g. MOJ Portal, Compensation Recovery Unit (CRU)
  • To make DPA / GDPR compliant requests for information to other businesses
  • Ensure that you are meeting customers’ fair and reasonable expectations and provide fair outcomes. Question and challenge peers and managers where processes and procedures do not meet these expectations and any activity that does not place customers’ interests at the heart of how we do business.
  • Complete training as mandated by the company and regulated by the FCA.
  • Ensure that you achieve and demonstrate levels of competence required to fulfil job requirements

Skills Knowledge & Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Proven ability of working in a fast paced environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office software

Desirable:

  • Experience using Guidewire Claim Centre
