Overview: IBTCI is seeking a Chief of Party (COP)/Project Director for an upcoming USAID/Bureau for Resilience and Food Security (RFS) Evidence Aggregation for Programmatic Approaches Activity. USAID’s Bureau for Resilience and Food Security (RFS) leads USAID’s efforts to implement measurable solutions to sustainably reduce global hunger, poverty, malnutrition, and water insecurity. To support these efforts, RFS strives to use evidence to inform its decisions and planning. While approaches are conceived of as “evidence-based”, the availability of formal evidence aggregation and syntheses is mixed. This gap raises questions about the degree to which promoted technical approaches are evidence-based, limit the ability of the bureau to assess and incorporate new evidence, and prevent the identification of key evidence gaps. This position is contingent upon award.
