General-purpose of the position
The COO is responsible for the implementation, administration, programs, and strategic plan of different projects in Belgium.
This is a leadership position requiring an experienced management-level professional.
It is 32H /week, to be based in Belgium (Brussels)
For all tasks: The job holder respects the confidentiality of all administrative, financial, and HR information.

Reporting to: Senior coordinator.
Responsible of: SB Espoir Activity Development officer / Parrinage Team / Volunteers / interns Team.
Contract: 32H/week for 3 Years. CDD + transport + insurance +telephone.

Overview
The COO will create opportunities, coordinate activities, and lead the implementation and the development of different projects of SB Overseas in Belgium.
Main responsibilities and tasks
Objectives of this Role
�� Collaborate with the senior coordinator in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs.
�� Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.
�� Oversee SB Belgium operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Design and implement strategies and plans.
Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
Establish policies that promote culture and vision.
Lead the team to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and report to Senior Coordinator.
Write and submit reports to the Senior Coordinator in all matters of importance
Assist Senior Coordinator.
1.SB Espoir Project
�� Creating new opportunities to extend SB Espoir project.
�� Raising awareness at the local community.
�� Assisting in conferences and platforms meetings.
�� Communicating with national and international partners.
�� Exploring, developing, and coordinating weekend activities for refugee youth/women.
�� Creating a team of volunteers to support our projects.
�� Supervising the activities officer in:
o Planning the weekend.
o Working with staff located at the centers to explore possible activities.
o Cultivating contacts with local secondary schools, community organizations, local government, businesses, etc., to find ���partners��� willing to contribute to weekend activities via programs, staff, or resources.
o Drafting of monthly reports for donors.
�� Collaborating with the communication officer to release a report about SB activities in Brussels.
�� Drafting sub-grant agreements and modifications.
2.���Parrainage Communautaire��� Project
�� Assist the senior coordinator in the implementation of the project.
�� Link parrainage project with SB Espoir.
�� Logistics Coordination (assisting the sponsor community, airport welcome, more details later).
3.Grants and partnership:
�� Applying for CCOF, FW grants, EU funds, ESC, Foundation and governmental funds.
�� Involved in the submission of the Grant and finalizing the report to the donor.
�� Supporting the opening of new strategic locations for program expansion.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications:
�� Bachelor���s Degree
�� 5 years of experience working in an NGO and developing projects.
�� Experience writing proposals and presentations
�� Excellent communication skills
�� Fluent in English and French.
�� Good computer skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
�� Community volunteer experience
�� Fundraising experience
�� Dutch / Arabic speaker

Remarks:
�� Requires work 4 days in the HQ. (ex, COVID)
�� May require periodic overtime.
�� Expected weekend participation to monitor the activities.
