Working as the UK member of the global HelpAge network, we respond to emergencies, promote appropriate health services and income security, and support older people to claim and enjoy their human rights in dignity.
We place a special emphasis on the role of gender equality and the rights of older women, and we assert the social, cultural and economic contribution made by older people, in addition to their needs.

We are seeking a CEO who will strategically shape Age International, further develop our people and culture, be an effective advocate, and contribute to a time of financial growth.
Our CEO will be relationally intelligent, pragmatic, adaptable, engaging, and someone who will thrive in a small organisation with ambitious goals to see older peoples’ voices heard, choices supported, and human rights accessed.
You will have the skills and insights that enable effective partnership working, be able to contribute to and reflect on emerging thinking on humanitarian and development work, be an effective
communicator and relationship-builder, and help us to become ever more inclusive.
