Chef / Koch for Hotel and Restaurant in the Swiss Alps at Berghaus Toni

Berghaus Toni is a 16 bedroom Family run Hotel based at 1950 meters with a 70 cover Restaurant and 40 cover Terrace based in the car-free Village of Riederalp, which is part of the Aletsch Arena Resort in Wallis, Switzerland.

Our kitchen offers both local specialities and international dishes.

Separate to the Hotel we have Restaurant Edelweiss, a 200+ seater Restaurant with large Terrace and fantastic location based in the centre of the Village.

Tasks

Managing the day to day kitchen operations including (but not limited to);

Working to set standards with the Management Team for Menus, Food Safety and Health & Safety.

Assisting with stock management and controls.

A minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Chef is preferable with a varied background in Restaurants being a must.

Requirements

Someone from within the European Union.

Individuals who are Motivated, can work Independently and within a Team and who has previous experience in Restaurants and or Hotels.

The Summer Season starts on Friday 10th June and ends on or around Tuesday 11th October 2022, with the team arriving on Friday 3rd June (The end date is to be confirmed with a minimum 2 weeks prior notice is given).
