Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

CDO Officer shall be responsible for supporting the CDO Manager including but not limited to:

  • preparing letters, memos, analysis, recommendation, reports, and representing in any meetings or activities if required.

  • Shall report to CDO Manager all transaction had transpired and accomplished in certain activities or day to day If necessary.

CDO officer shall be responsible for supporting the Chapter in ensuring that Service Delivery of different Programs and services are efficiently delivered. Tasks include but not limited to:

  • Coordinate with PMER in the monitoring chapter performance in order to identify possible augmentation especially for poor-performing chapters.

  • Assists Chapters need through close coordination with different NHQ departments or offices.

  • Act as liaison officer of CDO to Chapters in case of deployment to chapters.

(Provide assessment and recommended developmental activities to chapters)*0 Support chapter in creating financial plan and work plan especially for newly/re-establish chapter or newly installed OIC if necessary.

  • Periodic travel to a chapter and attend a conference, meeting of BODs if required or assigned by CDO Manager.

  • Willing to be assigned as temporary Officer in Charge in the Chapter if there’s no available chapter personnel and if approved by the management.

  • Coach and mentor, the newly Installed Chapter OIC especially if has limited knowledge in Chapter Management.

CDO Officer shall be responsible for providing technical support to the Chapter in-branch establishment including but not limited to:

  • Provide guidance to the chapter based on the specified policy and procedure

  • Prepare communications, feasibility study, and recommendation to CDO Manager based on the assessment/ study.

  • Secure all necessary documents for the branching, prepare communication and presentation for SG recommendation and BOG deliberation.

Shall be responsible for supporting chapter in delivery of successful and effective chapter assemblies and orientation program including but not limited:

Support to PRC Chapters in organizing chapter assemblies and orientation program.

Assist Chapters by coordinating guest speaker schedules for Chapter Assemblies and Orientation.

  • Support to PRC Chapters in organizing chapter assemblies and orientation program.

  • Assist Chapters by coordinating guest speaker schedules for Chapter Assemblies and Orientation.

  • Ensure Chapter Assemblies & Orientation programs adhere to specified guidelines.

  • Prepare communication, logistical needs for the speaker if necessary and presentation.

  • Responsible for requesting and managing of cash Advance that will need in by guest speaker in traveling with the consent of the CDO Manager.

  • Secure all the necessary documents pre and post-Chapter Assembly activities.

Shall be responsible for supporting the NHO/ Offices in coordinating/linking with chapters including but not limited to:

  • Support NHQ offices to follow up of necessary information/reports/ data needed by the requesting office.

  • Aid any NHQ offices if necessary and if permits by CDO Manager.

CDO Officer may perform other tasks that may be assigned to her/him including but not limited to:

  • Officer reporting Officer

  • PQA Assessors

  • DATA privacy Office Officer

  • Preparing of Office Budget and Year operational plan

  • Able to duty in Operation Center in case of a disaster or any emergency situation to support the overall mandate of the organization.

  • Willing to be deployed in time of disaster/emergency if necessary.

  • Shall support any PRC activities that will be assigned to him/her.

  • Any other relevant task that may be assigned to him/her by the CDO manager and management.

Job Specifications:

  • Qualifications/Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a PhilippineRed Cross staff member or volunteer
  • Experience in program development, support, and delivery
  • Knowledgeable in PRC Policies and procedure is preferred
  • Excellent communicating, reporting and problem solving skills
  • Team player and can perform will task under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with applications such as Word, Excel, PPT
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including coaching and training

Personal Qualities and Skills:

  • Capability to develop strong relationships and work effectively with CDO Staff and Manager, PRC BOGs, BODs Senior
  • Management, Executives, Chapter Administrators.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
