Internship Overview

Springs Window Fashions is looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Marketing Team! Channel Marketing Internship provides an exciting opportunity to assist the team with project support while providing valuable work experience related to your chosen field of study. Our paid internship program is known for having in-depth, challenging project work with cross-functional teams, as well as professional development, job shadowing and other growth opportunities.

Internship Projects And Responsibilities

  • Gather competitive intel in order to develop a comprehensive competitive analysis focused on:
    • How the competition markets/communicates to dealers
    • What types of selling materials the competition provide to dealers
    • Competitive loyalty programs and dealer benefits
    • How the competition leverages technology (videos, digital assets) in dealer marketing/sales efforts
  • Use this information to identify key areas of opportunity for SWF Dealer Channel.
  • Compile and format weekly lead time bulletins, post on appropriate channels (GraberDirect, Internal Sharepoint sites, SWFConnect)
  • Schedule weekly update sends to internal sales teams
  • Assist with marketing and communication plans for new product launches. Help submit IMR’s, proof launch materials and assemble launch communications.
  • Assist in development and creation of product launch mailings
    • Work with 3rd party vendors to source printed materials/give aways
    • Coordinate shipments with internal shipping department
  • Update existing competitive sampling matrix. Work with field sales team to gather and document feedback on sampling vehicles. Potential to participate in dealer panel meetings to better understand dealer/consumer needs from sampling.
  • Work with PM and engineering teams to identify recent product line improvements that benefit the dealer or end consumer. Compile information into Dealer facing stories and work with Channel marketing team to map dealer communication and integrate into broader marketing campaign.
  • Assist with event planning logistics for tradeshows, training events, and Budget Blinds Expo

Preferred Qualification

Requirements

  • Previous internship experience in relevant function
  • Pursuing a 4-year degree with preferred current standing of Junior level
    • Business, Marketing or Sales major preferred
  • Strong writing and organizational skills, attention to detail, yet ability to see the big picture
  • Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and at tention to detail)
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Self-starter with an eagerness to learn
