We are looking for an exceptional Celebrity and Ambassador Manager at a pivotal time of change and growth for the organisation.

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of partnerships with high profile and influential individuals who inspire mass support and help increase understanding of and funds for urgent humanitarian and development work around the world.

You’ll keep these incredible partners feeling inspired, informed, and motivated through tailored communications which speak to their personal passions and interests.

Through regular and proactive catch ups with key teams across the organisation including PR, fundraising, and campaigns, you’ll be in the loop on the development of plans and activities so you can spot opportunities for celebrity engagement.

You’ll attend meetings and events to build strong connections with celebrities and their teams and create conversations about the role they can play in ending poverty.

You’ll have:

  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to inspire supporters, colleagues and peers
  • Proven track record of engaging with and securing partnerships with celebrities and high-profile supporters
  • A skilled and solution-focused negotiator able to get the best results for both Oxfam and our supporters
  • Ability to achieve results by working in an agile way, being comfortable to make decisions consistent with our strategy and values in the face of complexity and lack of clarity.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the sector and trends in celebrity partnerships
