Here’s where you come in:

As the CCD ECHO Data Portability Project Manager, you will oversee the implementation of the ECHO Data Portability grant. This project will bring together a vast group of stakeholders from multiple different sectors (NGOs, UN, government, and private sector) to create a groundbreaking new way to approach data management and sharing. Through this project, the foundations will be laid for data portability for crisis-affected people by putting them at the centre of data management.

Your major responsibilities will include:

  • Advocating and Influencing
  • Conducting multiple workshops, meetings, ‘closed door’ sessions and conferences to clarify challenges (technical & human), identify possible solutions, foster broad buy-in, and assess barriers to change in key humanitarian organizations and countries.
  • Overseeing day-to-day project implementation
  • Creating a learning community around the project by hosting webinars, publishing, promoting, creating
  • Managing consultants

Requirements include:

  • University degree in Behavioral Psychology, data science, Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent related to field
  • Five years of experience in business process improvement or digital identity, etc.
  • Three years of experience in international humanitarian/development and business-related activities.
  • Expertise in project and change management Demonstrated knowledge of NGO internal structures and processes
  • Experience running creative and engaging virtual and in-person events Strong project, budget, and information management skills, with the ability to coordinate across various teams
  • The role is Home-based, and is open to all locations
