Main duties of the job
Department working hours are predominantly between 7:00am to 9.00pm, which will involve some weekend work and various shift patterns including early and late shifts as the service requires. The pay rate will increase for all hours worked on a Saturday and Sunday and Bank Holidays.
You must have good communication skills, as you will be working within the kitchen and serving food at ward level. Candidates must be able to demonstrate ability to work flexibly and on own initiative.
You will hold a current level 2 food hygiene certificate, or be willing to work towards this qualification. Catering experience is essential for this post.
This post is a permanent contract.
