The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Digital Communications Officer to join the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Science (MNHS). In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Biomedicine Discovery Institute (BDI) Communications Manager, Ruth Schneider and will be asked to provide a range of high-level administrative and specialist services to support the internal and external research communications and engagement strategies of the BDI.

The successful incumbent will provide support across the range of functions fulfilled by the BDI Communications portfolio including social media, digital marketing and other functions focused on effective dissemination of research outcomes to internal and external audiences. Under the direction of the Communications Manager, the candidate will collaborate with other BDI Professional Services, researchers, educators and students as required to ensure effective fulfilment of key objectives across a range of projects, including expert support across the range of BDI communications channels.
