Location: Kyiv, Ukraine
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (1 year)
Salary: £33,883 – £37,409 per annum DOE + £1,260.88 monthly allowance + location based allowances

Could you provide crucial specialist experience in the field of Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society?

About the role

The Cash & Voucher Assistance (CVA) Delegate will be embedded in the Ukraine Red Cross Society (URCS) at national committee level to support in sharing and rolling out its vision for CVA programmes locally and at scale. The delegate will provide technical support and thought leadership to national CVA programmes and actively participate in the Red Cross Red Crescent (RCRC) Movement Cash coordination architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Provide CVA recommendations to inform strategic and operational decision making.
Provide CVA technical assistance, coaching, and mentoring to support quality and accountable cash responses at scale.
Coach/mentor URCS national staff to perform the URCS Ukraine Cash Working Group (CWG) co-chair role.
Work closely with other CVA staff from URCS, IFRC, Partner National Societies, and ICRC present in Ukraine to collaboratively strengthen URCS CVA.
Represent URCS when/as required in meetings, workshops, consultations, webinars, etc.

What we are looking for…

Technical/professional knowledge within the areas of cash and markets, preferably within the Ukraine context.
Solid understanding of the international humanitarian sector with a focus on integrated programming, participatory training, and local capacity building.
Experience of establishing effective relationships to influence and enable decision making.
Experience coordinating and advocating to external stakeholders including government, NGOs, UN, and donor organisations.
Working knowledge of written/spoken Ukrainian or Russian.
