Job Overview: The Case Management Officer, Global Employee Relations, provides operational, analytical and administrative support to the Global Employee Relations (ER) team. As the Case Management Officer, you will drive the intake and triage process of matters raised through the formal channels of the organization, own the referral process of local employment matters to local HR, and support the assignment and life cycle case management for workplace reviews.

Additionally, you will be responsible for generating comprehensive reports and conducting in-depth analyses of case reviews to strengthen the unit and facilitate informed decision-making.

This position reports to the Sr Operations and Delivery Coordinator and can be based anywhere the IRC operates globally.

Major Responsibilities

Case Management

  • Review, categorize, and process incoming Employee Relations concerns/matters/cases.
  • Respond and follow up with reporters to gather information in relation to the cases, as deemed appropriate.
  • Manage the case review process.
  • Handle the full administrative life-cycle of Employee Relations matters, from intake to closure. Monitor progress throughout and provide updates.
  • Assign employee relations matters to Global Employee Relations Partners and refer local employment matters to HR Leads.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files to facilitate case reviews and communications.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Analyze metrics and develop reports that enable leadership and partners to identify and understand key trends.
  • Prepare quarterly reports for Leadership Board on Workplace Safeguarding cases.
  • Provide support for the drafting, editing, and circulating donor disclosures.

Work Experience

  • Minimum three years related work experience in Human Resources or in any operational/analytical capacity.

  • Learning Agility: Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Adept at learning new technology platforms. Comfortable with being challenged and to challenge the status quo.
  • Commitment to Confidentiality: Ability to handle and maintain confidential information and act with the utmost discretion.

Preferred Skills:

  • French, Arabic and/or Spanish language skills are advantageous.

Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
