We have an exciting new opportunity for a Caretaker to join our team in Todmorden, Yorkshire.

This role is all about ensuring that our estates and properties are not just clean, but also tidy and therefore safer for everybody. You will be working as part of our estate services team, which forms one of the bedrocks of our Group, and is often working as a front-line service.

There will be an element of litter picking and rubbish removal included in this role – which will be from external landscaped areas (could include either soft or hard landscaping)You will be clearing & cleaning both internal and external communal areas, and blocks of properties (both low and high rise properties). This will include managing the use of and levels of cleanliness – including in communal bins and refuse chutes.This will include checking and reporting of communal areas for any hazards, damage, defects, and graffiti.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Role

Practical experience of cleaning or caretaking

Working in a customer orientated environment

Knowledge of and the ability to operate relevant cleaning / caretaking equipment and machinery

A good standard of literacy and numeracy to enable accurate records and job details are kept

Due to the nature of the role, a full driving license is required, and a driving assessment will take place due to the role requiring use of a company provided van.
