JOB SUMMARY

Provides operational support to bank personnel and customers primarily in deposit application systems related to card payments, i.e., debit cards, credit cards, and any subsequent programs. Includes data entry and research as well as creative problem-solving for all frontline staff.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The following are essential job responsibilities:

  1. Provide operational support to internal customers in deposit system applications including maintaining accurate product, service and account data on core processing systems.
  2. Process and provide operational support for daily electronic transactions and products including Debit cards and Credit Cards.
  3. Provide necessary reporting to bank management.
  4. Review Fraud Software daily to identify potential fraud on electronic transactions and card products. Timely identification reduces risk to the customer and the bank.
  5. Review daily reports and general ledger account reconciliations. Make correction/ adjustment entries as appropriate.
  6. Review daily reports to identify and correct possible errors or omissions.
  7. Identify and suggest process improvements for daily tasks and department functions.
  8. Serve as backup for other Operations staff, as necessary.

Education Required/ Preferred:

High School diploma or equivalent, plus additional relevant coursework.

Experience Required/ Preferred:

2 years administrative and/or accounting experience, or 2 years card processing experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

These demands are as follows but not limited to the ability to sit, stand and walk often throughout the day, constantly be able to operate with their hands and arms, occasionally ascend/descend flights of stairs, position themselves frequently throughout the day, communicate with other employees, able to examine their work and regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds while occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
