Mechanical Design Engineer

The Global Industry Team in Zürich is looking for a qualified and passionate Mechanical Design Engineer supporting one of our clients in the German speaking part of Switzerland.

Your role
Mechanical/3D development in Siemens NX for the casing design/LCD panel
Collaboration with the electrical and mechanical engineers on improvements to the design
Design for IP-Rating certification
Writing of regular progress reports and their presentation to project managers and clients
Collection and analysis data from tests on prototypes

Your profile
University degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 4 years of industry experience
Familiar with Siemens NX or similar
Experience with freeform CAD design
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Work experience within two different industries (e.g. aerospace/automotive )
Fluency in English and good knowledge of German (at least B2) is a must
