We are looking for a Temporary Part-time Program Clerk – General to join our dynamic Donor Relations and Collections team in Vancouver. In this role you will be responsible to provide ongoing administrative support for training, program events, Apheresis clinic and data maintenance for the Donor Services and Clinic Services teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Sets up and maintains staff training schedules
Provides clerical support to department trainers
Verifies donor donation history using eProgesa and processes post donation clinic forms
May be required to take minutes for meetings
Maintains and updates training records by tracking professional certification dates
Maintains and updates controlled document binders
Prepares and distributes training materials and ensures return for compliance
Assists in New Employee Orientation
Assists with preparing information packages for promotions of the program
Reviews donor history prior to donor appointment
Maintains and updates Apheresis files according to establishment guidelines
Education, Training, and Experience:
Grade 12, two years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to type at 45 w.p.m and advanced Excel
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to deal with other’s effectively
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
Ability to organize work
Ability to operate related equipment
Additional information:
Works: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 08:00 to 16:00. Rest days: Saturday and Sunday.
