CANADEM
CANADEM is seeking seasoned Arabic Speaking professionals with previous relevant experience for its WASH professional roster. CANADEM is a Canadian based NGO that works with various UN agencies through the standby partnership programme. We regularly deploy candidates in various areas of expertise all around the globe. Registration with CANADEM is always free. We are looking to expand our pool of experts for potential/upcoming opportunities with different UN agencies’ field offices. Most positions are for 3 to 6 month deployments.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional WASH experience in the UN or other international development organization, national government or the private sector.
- Experience in conducting WASH assessments and the development of effective response programming, especially within a humanitarian context.
- Experience in a humanitarian context within the UN common system or other comparable international organization is desirable.
- Fluency in Arabic
- Strong communication, collaboration, teamwork, interpersonal, and cultural competency skills
