Public Services International (PSI) is an international trade union federation whose head quarter is in France, with 15 offices around the world. PSI has over 700 member unions representing 30 million workers in 154 countries.

PSI is seeking applications for the position of Campaign Coordinator (decent work and dignity for sanitation workers in South Asia) for a recruitment as soon as possible for a contract until February 2026 inclusive, with possible renewal subject to funding.

The position will be located at PSI Sub-Regional Office for South Asia either in Chennai (India) or in Kathmandu (Nepal) and involves international travel in South Asia sub-region. The work may be carried out remotely with the addition of duty travels.

The Campaign Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of the PSI strategy to secure decent work and dignity for sanitation workers in South Asia by organising the workforce.

The Campaign Coordinator will develop an organising strategy in targeted South Asian Countries : Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan. she/he will coordinate research, capacity building activities and advocacy meetings and will be responsible for the project cycle management and finance monitoring of the project.

PSI is looking for somebody who:

  • Is an energetic and experienced labour organiser and/or campaigner.
  • Has experience in project management.
  • Has experience with trade unions in the subregion.
  • Has strong written and verbal English.

The remuneration will depend on the internal salary scale and previous experience.
