Call for Technical Consultants

Trust Consultancy & Development is seeking to expand its pool of technical consultants. We cooperate with external technical consultant on our M&E and research assignments. The external technical consultant will join the team on a short-term contract per assignment, of which the consultant will typically have the following tasks:

• Review project document

• Review inception report and provide technical inputs

• Develop and/or review design data collection tools

• Review data analysis and provide technical inputs

• Review draft report, give the team feedback and provide technical inputs

• Develop and review recommendations and provide technical inputs

• Participate in kick-off meetings and presentation meetings with the Trust team and the client

  Candidate Profile

  We are seeking technical consultants within the fields and countries of:

• Agriculture (with experience in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and/or Afghanistan)

• Disaster relief (Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan and/or Yemen)

• Environment in Humanitarian Action (Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan and Yemen)

• Cash and Voucher Assistance (Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan and/or Yemen)

• Civil Society, Peacebuilding and Human Rights (Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan and/or Yemen)

• Law and Justice (Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan and Yemen)

• Food Security and Livelihood (Afghanistan)

• Protection (Afghanistan, Iraq and/or Yemen)

• Nutrition (Afghanistan)

• WASH (Afghanistan)

• Shelter and Settlements (Afghanistan and/or Yemen)

• Education (Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and/or Yemen)

• Health (Afghanistan, Iraq and/or Yemen)

  Qualifications

• Experience working in the humanitarian and/or development field(s);

• Experience with M&E and/or programming in Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, Iraq, Turkey and/or Afghanistan

• Holds a master’s degree (Phd would be an asset);

• At least 7 years of relevant experience

• Speaks fluent English (Arabic, Turkish and Kurdish would be an asset);
