The Nabni Facility is seeking to partner with local Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in Aden, Abyan, Al-Mahrah, Al-Dhale, Hadramaut, Hodeidah, Socotra, Lahij, Shabwah, Taiz and Marib Governorates to contribute to conflict prevention and promote peace and reconstruction in the country. The goal of the Nabni Facility is to support conflict-impacted communities in the Middle East North Africa region to be peaceful and inclusive through locally-led transformation processes that are built on local people’s vision of the future. The Call for Concept Notes in Yemen forms part of a wider initiative across the region, that seeks to further the Building for Peace approach in partnership with local civil society organisations.

The objective of this Call for Concept Notes (CfCN) is to obtain project ideas from national and local NGOs and CSOs to implement projects that are aligned with Nabni’s strategy and approach, and which address some of – but not limited to, the challenges outlined in the Call.

Remarks

  1. The CfCN template, as well as all correspondence and documents related to the CfCN should only be submitted in English. The CfCN document itself is available in Arabic for reference.
  2. The CfCN template and the supporting document must be submitted through the e-CfP system, before the deadline. It will not be possible to submit your application after the deadline or outside the e-CfP system.

[1] Eligible locations will include districts that are under the control of the government in Aden, meaning that access and authorisation to access these locations is offered by the government in Aden.
