The Platform

Falcon is the CrowdStrike platform purpose-built to stop breaches via a unified set of cloud-delivered technologies that prevent all types of attacks — including malware and much more. Today’s sophisticated attackers are going “beyond malware” to breach organizations, increasingly relying on exploits, zero days, and hard-to-detect methods such as credential theft and tools that are already part of the victim’s environment or operating system, such as PowerShell. CrowdStrike Falcon responds to those challenges with a powerful yet lightweight solution that unifies next-generation antivirus (NGAV), endpoint detection and response (EDR), intelligence, managed capabilities and security hygiene — all contained in a tiny, single, lightweight sensor that is cloud-managed and delivered.

The Product Group

IOT Security Product Group is focussed on developing products and solutions for ICS/ OT and other IOT verticals like Healthcare. The charter for the team is by using CrowdStrike’s platform capabilities and threat intelligence, build products and integrate with partner products and platforms to establish ourselves as the #1 EDR vendor in this space.

About The Role

This is a Release Engineer role in the engineering team that delivers the sensor (lightweight agent) on Windows for IOT PG. The release engineer will own the release life cycles, drive for continuous improvements via tools development and automating processes. You will work closely with the feature teams, program management, product management to create release plans and drive deployments across various sensor versions for customers and verticals. The team operates under the Agile development principles.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Designing and developing user mode software for deployment on Windows systems
• Own and drive deployments across several parallel sensor release plans
• Collaborate with multi-functional sensor team in various physical locations
• Troubleshoot issues with the overall sensor release team outside of the PG responsively

What You’ll Need

• Experience of developing high-quality code in C/C++ and can demonstrate that capability, be it through job experience, schoolwork, or contributions to community projects
• Experience collaborating cross functionally across multiple teams
• Identify opportunities to improve tooling, processes.
• Able to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team
