Business Support Administrator

Here at GXO, we’re looking for Business Administrators to join us at our busy reverse network operation in Skelmersdale that we run on behalf of 2 of our customers, Asda & Sainsbury’s. You’ll be part of a busy and fast paced team who are responsible for providing payroll support, procurement and administrative tasks for a total of 18 sites across the UK.

We have the added bonus of being flexible on your working week, you can choose either Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday, either 8 till 4 or 9 to 5, not many roles can offer that!

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £21,000.00 per annum. In addition, we offer 33 days holiday pay (inclusive of bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Support the processing and submission of weekly and monthly payroll as well as all associated administration
  • Be a point of contact for payroll and on-site HR, resolving and feeding back any queries
  • Process procurement and purchasing activities, data entry and support with the provision of analysis of information to the customer to enable the agreement of invoices
  • Take minutes for meetings, which are sometimes confidential

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Strong previous Administration experience – we can provide training on Payroll
  • Confidence in the use of a variety of IT systems, such as time & attendance and Microsoft Office
  • The ability to plan and organise your workload effectively, meeting specific deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
