Business Opportunities (Tenders) Officer

networx | Recruitment Software & Services

Could you play a key role in the growth of one of the UK’s foremost advocacy charities?

At The Advocacy People, we provide vital services, giving people a voice when it comes to their health and wellbeing.

After a period of successful bidding, we’re seeking a permanent Business Opportunities Officer to join our Business Development Team. With a very healthy sales pipeline ahead of us, we want to add to our dynamic team of experienced bidding and tendering professionals.

As a driven sales professional with proven success in tender-based procurement, you’ll be helping us to maximise the number and the quality of the bids we submit. You’ll also be motivated by the chance to make a real difference: The Advocacy People is a trusted and well-regarded organisation, helping hundreds of people around the country to make positive change each day.

As the ideal candidate, you will be familiar with a number of public procurement portals. You’ll have successfully secured tenders/contracts (preferably for adult social care services) and will share our commitment to expanding the services we offer to Central Government and local authorities across the UK. Experience of public procurement is not crucial but being result-oriented and able to write compelling tenders is vital.

We offer a competitive salary, flexible working arrangements and a comprehensive support and development programme for the right candidate.

We really look forward to hearing from you!
