Description

The Business Management Intern is charged with supporting all aspects of running the assigned web business(es) including, but not limited to: reporting analysis, merchandising support, internal operations coordination and monitoring. The role also involves working closely with other groups within Fanatics such as marketing and buying.

The ideal Business Management Intern will be equally effective working as part of a team and in self-guided activities. This person should be able to handle steady ongoing work streams as well as being able to balance working on short term imperatives that come up. This person should be comfortable learning the ins and outs of the business(es) they are supporting and increase their responsibilities over time. Potential for this position to lead to future employment opportunities.

Primary Responsibilites

This qualified individual will assist with the Business Management Team in all aspects of executing site management and marketing operations for assigned business(es). Must have the ability to master the processes, systems and tools necessary to run the site level requirements of eCommerce. This includes, but not limited to the following:

  • Set-up and QA of creative elements for website(s)
  • Set-up and QA promotions for website(s)
  • Assist in the management and execution of Promotional/Site Calendar for website(s)
  • Perform Business/Marketing Analysis to include the preparation of daily or weekly reports

a Successful Business Management Intern Will Have The Following

  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a degree in Business Management, Marketing or Sports Management
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple work-streams simultaneously
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and also collaboratively as part of a team and/or across teams
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Must be motivated, detail oriented with a willingness to learn

Desirable Requirements

  • Retail or eCommerce Experience
  • Knowledge of Sports Licensed industry is desired
  • Knowledge of NFL and NBA teams, players, etc. is desired
