The Choice, Inc. is managing a search for a Business Development & Partnerships Coordinator for our nonprofit client. This organization is well-respected and nationally known in its mission. Its operations have a heavy emphasis on philanthropy, fundraising, and partnership building in the environmental advocacy space.
We are seeking candidates who are excited to continue growing in their career in business and partnership development.
The Coordinator will support the Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships in projects associated with recruitment of new corporate partners in support of the organization.
This highly critical department builds strong corporate partnership pipelines for account managers. We are eager to connect with candidates with excellent prospect research and CRM skills.
Job Duties:
·Research, identify and pursue prospective partners.
·Provide support with proposal/contract development and negotiation processes.
·Track items and maintain progress in CRM (Raiser’s Edge).
·Manage and assess feasibility of incoming partnership inquiries and make strategic recommendations to senior directors.
·Work effectively with internal reps from other departments to ensure seamless relationship management.
Skills required:
·Bachelor’s degree required
·At least two years of related professional work or internship experience
·Proficient in MS Office. Some previous CRM experience highly preferred
·Experience conducting prospect research and developing pitch materials.
·Interest in environmental preservation is a definite plus!
Candidates must be in Washington, DC and able to commute to DC office in hybrid capacity (likely 3 days a week.) Candidates will also need to be vaccinated and boosted for Covid-19.
