Elrha is a global charity that finds solutions to complex humanitarian problems through research and innovation. We are looking to recruit an experienced fundraising, business development and donor relations specialist to help us grow and diversify our donor base and funding portfolio.
Working closely with staff across the organisation, and under the direction of the CEO, the role is responsible for driving business development, fundraising and donor relations activities by cultivating pipeline opportunities, coordinating high quality proposals and leading internal engagement with the business development strategy including embedding effective business development practices and processes with our teams.

The successful candidate will have proven fundraising and business development experience in the humanitarian / international development sector. You will also need to demonstrate:
- The ability to build positive relationships with a range of donors and upstream partners
- A track record of successful proposal development and bid coordination
- Experience of developing fundraising strategies and coordinating activities to deliver them
- The ability to work independently and proactively to deliver solutions and results.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with staff across teams and functions to embed best practice business development practice
A good understanding of research and innovation approaches in the humanitarian context would also be an advantage.
