ROLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERN
Job Description
Hudson Medical is currently seeking a passionate and tenacious Business Development Intern to assist in managing all cross-functional business development/growth initiatives. S/He will assist the business development team with the execution and performance optimization of Hudson Medical’s growth strategies and programs. The Business Development Intern will directly report to the Chief Growth Officer and Relationships Manager to both research, develop, and maintain business development channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about sales and business development and modern healthcare, is both creative and unafraid of interaction and a fast-paced environment, and ideally has both marketing and healthcare industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Represent the Hudson Brand and interact with medical offices, mental health professionals, and doctors to build partnerships, educate them on the services we provide, and unique patient experience.
- Assist in Collateral development for B2B Sales channel efforts to offer up our diverse suite of services to companies through their HR/benefits departments
- Help develop marketing action plans to help identify new referral sources.
- Identify and visit new medical offices, businesses, and potential partners.
- Potentially Conduct cold calls to potential partners and track progress, manage and update referring physician/physician group records in the company database, as needed.
- Assist with the other referral and marketing team members to monitor metrics and make sure planning is being accomplished.
- Support the development of marketing material and customized content for assigned accounts/prospects.
- Attend networking events to promote brand and services.
- Potentially assist on ad-hoc marketing projects.
Required Skills, Experience, Education
We believe extraordinary people come from a variety of backgrounds, but ideally we would expect that you have:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Analytics, Communications, Advertising, or related field
- College credit available
To be successful in this role, candidates will demonstrate the following:
- Excellent written and verbal communication, project management and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in G-Suite, Microsoft Office and customer service software
- Strong ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Fearless nature in communication
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Proven ability to think strategically and execute methodically
- Detail-oriented with highly organized work skills
- Secondary language is a plus (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese)
