Description

As a Business Development Executive the main responsibilities include:

  • To increase the company’s sales and long-term prospects to existing and potential customers by promoting our products and services through promotional telephone calls, e-marketing and minimal face to face selling. The sales we do are often repeat selling. Your challenge will be to sell an increased product range to these customers.
  • Researching the target market and finding companies to target.
  • To make a high volume of connected calls per day.
  • Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by the Sales Manager.
  • Progressing towards activity targets and KPI’s set by the Sales Manager.
  • Updating the CRM and inputting information on the customer records, and periodically data cleansing.
  • Ensure that the level of customer satisfaction is at a high level.
  • Process customer’s enquiries and orders in accordance with the company’s business system.
  • Provide sound technical and styling advice to customers.
  • Take an active role in resolving customer’s queries and complaints in line with company policy. At all times maintaining the company’s ethos on customer satisfaction, without allowing the customers to take undue advantage.
  • Take a proactive role in gathering market intelligence and reporting this information to management.

Profile

The successful Business Development Executive will include:

  • An experienced, highly self-motivated, sales and target driven individual.
  • You must be experienced in making a high volume of outbound sales calls.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Track record of achieving KPI’s and targets.
  • The client prospect on the phone, new and existing customers, and new contacts. You must be successful at speaking to decision makers and possess the ability to ask open questions that allow you to take control of the conversation yet providing the customer with an opportunity to talk and extract information to enable you to get the facts required to progress towards a sale.
  • The client sell to customers all over the UK, need to be empathetic, have fantastic rapport building and listening skills.
  • The client are selling to the automotive sector. You don’t have to be an expert; however, you will need to know the anatomy of a truck.
