MEETING YOUR TEAM

At MWM, our goal is to rapidly expand our portfolio of apps to establish a leading app in any creative cluster with growth potential. We want to develop new capabilities in order to unlock more growth opportunities.

In this role, you will be a key element of the Corporate Development team and will be working on identifying opportunities, developing synergistic value propositions to collaborate with external studios, and formalizing the interactions into contractual agreements. We are therefore looking for someone with interest in strategy, finance, and business development.

You will be responsible for analyzing key market trends & opportunities to help us tackle our main challenge: build the largest ecosystem of creative apps dedicated to hundreds of millions of users.

MEETING YOUR FUTURE INTERNSHIP

Your main mission if you do accept it:

• Assist the Corporate Development Manager from screening to closing on all the different discussions held with various partners (acquisitions, divestitures, publishing partnerships, etc),
• Benchmark & analyse the mobile app stores in order to develop a deep understanding of the mobile creative industry and its trends,
• Identify growth opportunities, source relevant targets, and take ownership in the business development efforts,
• Settle, track & monitor discussions with all the potential partners to bring qualified leads down the funnel,
• Lead discussions and negotiations with targets, convincing partners about the solidity and relevance of the project,
• Coordinate with MWM internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding / integration for external studios during the initial phase of partnership, and proactively refine internal processes as needed,
• Provide management teams with detailed sales reports and market analysis,
• Develop a communication strategy around the Corporate Development efforts to establish and fuel a pipeline of organic opportunities.

ABOUT YOU

• You speak English fluently,
• Past experiences / internships in business development, strategy, finance positions (corporate M&A, investment banking, VC, etc),
• You’re organized and methodical, able to manage several work streams simultaneously, and you never give up,
• You have incredible communication & analytical skills, and experience in dealing with large amounts of data,
• You succeed in fast-paced environments and you take ownership of your tasks,
• You love learning, you love helping people, and know how to get people excited to work with you,
• Genuine interest and passion for mobile apps & games.

Even better if you have:

• Previous working experience in a startup environment
• A solid knowledge of the mobile industry, key trends & features, platform specific behaviors and best practices
• Data engineering skills
• Any experience in modeling / financial planning is a plus
