Business Coordinator

RSK Acoustics are looking for a dedicated and diligent Business Coordinator. On the job training will be provided where necessary from either an administration, health & safety, software or project management perspective. There is no requirement to have any knowledge of the acoustics sector, but awareness of general consultancy would be beneficial, and an interest in the environment would be advantageous.

The role will be based in our Helsby or Manchester offices.

The role is a full time, permanent position (although consideration may be given to part time)

For the right individual this role has the potential to grow into a wider business development role for the team, health and safety coordinator, training coordinator or marketing specialist, depending on the interest and competence of the candidate.

Key Responsibilities

The Successful Candidate Will Support The Nationwide Team With

Project support (invoicing, systems input, credit checks, tender setup),

Training record administration,

Organisation of meetings, preparation of minutes, and other tasks supporting consultants within the team.

Development and management of major tender (EOI/ITT etc.) input and information database

Person Specification

Exceptional leadership, organisational and time management skills

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Basic knowledge of accounting procedures such as bookkeeping and other general financial procedures

Experience in a related role such as Office Assistant, Receptionist, Sales Assistant or other relevant position, however someone new to the role may also be considered

Knowledge of computer programs used in daily office administration functions such as word processors (Microsoft Word), presentation tools (PowerPoint), spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel, Access) and specialised office management tools (FocalPoint or equivalent)

Proficiency in filing and paper management (physical and virtual), including the ability to manage business correspondence and the ability to handle confidential information

Knowledge of CRM tools (Customer Relationship Manager)

On the job training will be provided where necessary from either an administration, software or project management perspective. There is no requirement to have any knowledge of the Acoustics sector, but awareness of general consultancy would be beneficial, and an interest in the environment would be advantageous.

The role will be based in our Helsby or Manchester offices, however there will be occasional travel between the Helsby, Manchester and Leeds offices. Any expenses related to travel will be covered by RSK.
