Job Summary
Support Senior Management in answering strategic questions related to key programs. Clean, merge, manipulate, and analyze underlying data to create clear and concise reports on the output. Reporting may include written or presentations. This role also includes strategic planning of discussions with key leaders and investigations on the data and programs for suggestion for further analysis.
Typical Day
Daily tasks focus on managing the list of key strategic questions, cleaning, merging, and manipulating data in order to answer key strategic questions. Each analysis will require a developed report and I or presentations to key stakeholders. Investigation and recommendations of how to improve data management to better answer strategic questions in the future.
Job Requirements
- 4yr technical degree, preferably with a master’s or additional training in data analysis and business analytics.
- Experience with data cleaning and data management with R or Python
- Experience with a Bl ETL Tool (e.g., Informatica, SQL Server)
- Experience with a Bl Visualization Tool (e.g., Tableau, DOMO, QlikView)
- Know SQL & Data Querying (Database)
- Can catch mistakes and errors in data and templates and suggest improvements
- Understand how data is collected and maintain key tenants (duplicates, quality, etc.) of data
- Understand processes, data collection, etc.
- Experience generating graphs for data visualization
- Experience working with data, for data cleaning, duplication, and review
- Ability to create and give clear, and concise presentations of projects and trainings
