Business Analyst
Unique and Exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to work directly with the CIO of a growing retail business and closely with the business stakeholders to identify their needs, capture and analyse their requirements, and determine solutions to business problems.
As a Business Analyst you will have the opportunity to help build out the technology road map and work full lifecycle from initiation, project delivery and completion giving you full oversight of end to end processes and solution based delivery.
Experience
As a Business Analyst you will have experience in covering projects in technology / ecommerce and/or retail & be able to show experience of working closely with IT and the business to define and deliver solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and define business cases.
- Describe and communicate benefits and costs
- Requirement gathering through a range of techniques
- Drive and challenge business on assumptions of how they will successfully execute plans
- Develop requirement artifacts according to standard templates, including user stories, using natural language.
- Support the CIO to manage backlogs and help shape backlogs, ensuring that user stories and designs are at the correct level of detail
- Road mapping and supporting the CIO on bigger projects in the definition of scope, goals, deliverables and overall timelines
- Involvement in leading IT and the business through software selection process including new RFP’s and vendor evaluations
- Managing projects from discovery phase through to implementation and aftercare.

Hybrid Role split between working in London and home.
