Business Analyst

Location: Walsall

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

The company I am recruiting for is looking for an experienced and qualified Business Analyst with strong knowledge of the SDLC and Agile development practices.

This is a great opportunity for a Business Analyst with client-facing experience that has worked within software projects, to join a large but highly innovative and entrepreneurial software house based in superb premises in Walsall. On-site, you will find a gym, nursery as well as a newly refurbished restaurant.

The role will be a hybrid one, with a split of home and office working.

The Role

The company provides an amazing environment where you will work within the SDLC working with highly skilled Developers, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Application Consultants.

You will be working with their old and new products which are cloud-based billing solutions built-in SalesForce that has launched in Australia and the USA. You will get to work closely with clients in the USA and Australia and you may have the opportunity to travel on certain projects.

You will be responsible for the capture, interpretation, prioritization and delivery of user stories/requirements and refinement of the client product backlog.

You will be tasked with identifying the requirements for their software when interfacing with third-party systems, writing user stories and detailed design documents for the developers to then build from.

Experience

• At least 3 years Business Analyst experience
• Understanding of Agile development, including SCRUM and user stories
• They are looking for a client-facing Business Analyst with great communication skills
• Any experience of SalesForce is handy but not a requirement

It is essential to have a driving license as travel will be required when restrictions allow.

Travel expenses will be fully funded and pool cars are available.
