Brand specialist German market

Germany, 40 hours

Urban Arrow is a leader in urban mobility and we want to stay that way. We have put the electric transport bike on the map internationally. But we are not there yet.

We are growing at a record pace, which is why we are expanding our team with a Brand specialist for the German market.

What is the objective of the marketing team?

Urban Arrow is the fastest growing brand of electric cargo bikes in the world. The goal of our marketing team is to support our dealers and increase brand awareness. In a market that is getting bigger and more competitive.

What’s the main goal of the Brand Specialist DACH?

The main objective is to support the growth of Urban Arrow in the DACH region from branding and marketing communications perspective. You will translate corporate campaigns to the local market. Follow up on requests of the local market. Focus mainly on our dealers, secondary on B2C and B2B.

Main focus:

  • Execute and adapt the global annual plan in the local market.
  • Initiate and execute campaigns and local activations where that fits to the overall plan.
  • Translate all content (web/app/product/campaigns/social media/monthly newsletter) to German.
  • Adapt, localize, create and post social media plan and -content.
  • Initiate & set up local influencer partnerships.
  • Follow brand guidelines and messaging in all localization of content.
  • Coordinate and execute local events and trade shows.
  • Assist in handling PR requests in liaison with Marketing & Communications Teamlead and local PR agency.
  • Follow up on marketing requests DACH dealers e.g. POS and marketing support.
  • Create monthly reports on campaigns, social media.
  • How to collaborate

Report to Marketing & Communications Teamlead based in Amsterdam.

Weekly 1:1 with Marketing &Communications Teamlead (google meets).

Work closely with sales manager DACH on daily basis,

Part of Marketing & Communication team located in Amsterdam (8 pax)

Requirements

  • Proactive
  • Teamplayer
  • Excellent listener and communicator
  • Proven track record in project management within branding, marketing and or events
  • Knowledge of (cargo) bike segment
  • Native German, fluent in English, Dutch is a pre
  • Can do mentality
  • Min.3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Copywriting skills, knows how to translate an English text to German
  • an work independently
