Bold Group is seeking an experienced Financial Software Data Support Technician. This is a Level 2 Support position that requires an extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL and its use to diagnose issues within Customer databases.

You are able to create queries that reveal issues such as broken joins, orphaned records and flawed relations, and have an aptitude for troubleshooting and designing scripts to correct these issues. You are able to build queries to be used in reporting and data analysis.

Where

While the Bold Group is headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and we have additional offices in Plano, TX, Irvine, CA, Chagrin Falls, OH, Detroit, Michigan and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this role can be based anywhere in the United States and can be 100% remote. All of our teams are working remotely for the foreseeable future due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on our Customer databases
  • Propose and create correction scripts for identified issues
  • Provide Help Desk Support for the SedonaOffice accounting application and its related products
  • Triage application and system errors and escalate as needed
  • Assist other support representatives as needed
  • Document Customer interaction using the Company’s SalesForce support application
  • Participate in application testing and quality assurance
  • Perform other duties as needed including answering phones.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Extensive experience creating scripts and queries using T-SQL
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Experience with Microsoft Access and Excel
  • Ability to explain database issues to non-technical staff and clients
  • Knowledge of accounting principles is helpful but not required

Salary Range

  • $45-55K, flexibility depending on experience
