Job Description
- Designing and implementing compilers from scratch
- Proposing new design recommendations for high-level smart contract languages depending on the Blockchain
- Integrating additional tooling for the compilers
- Being involved in the global Blockchain community – work on implementing and integrating the latest improvement proposals
- Providing your knowledge and expertise as a technical team member
- Participating in developing and disseminating new reference architectures, technical content, and best practices (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts)
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Informatics or a similar qualification
- Proven track record within the Blockchain industry – this is a must
- Previous working experience as an Engineer or Developer (3+ years)
- Familiarity with Zero-Knowledge Proofs (zk-SNARK, circom, Plonk/Halo2, zk-STARK), elliptic curve cryptography, and circuit design
- Experience with low level/strongly typed languages (C/C++/Go/Rust or Java/C#)
- Knowledge of relevant concepts: static analysis, type systems, lambda calculus and its variations, abstract interpretation, common compiler optimizations.
- In-depth knowledge of compilers and VMs
- Proficiency in English is a must, additional languages are a plus
