Job Description
- Leading efforts to ensure and improve the security of products, performing stress tests, monitoring suspicious behavior to prevent attacks
- Examining the use of cutting-edge cryptographic methods in the development of new products, related backend systems, and specific subfields of Blockchain technologies, such as MPC or ZKP, etc.
- Giving constructive feedback, assisting in identifying the security threats, and demonstrating methodical risk management
- Analyzing bridges, rollups, and others, especially from a cryptographic standpoint
- Participating in developing and disseminating new reference architectures, technical content, and best practices (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts).
- Keeping up with the latest developments and recommended methods in the field of Blockchain by identifying trends in Blockchain security using external research in the industry, new technological developments and security incidents
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Informatics or a similar qualification
- Proven leadership track record within Blockchain security – this is a must
- Previous working experience as an Engineer or Developer (5+ years)
- Experience in working with advanced cryptographic techniques like MPC, ZKP, VRF, VDF, threshold techniques, etc. (3+ years)
- You have developed dApps and smart contracts (using e.g. Solidity, Vyper, or Rust), and you’re familiar with various Blockchain ecosystems (Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, Cosmos etc.)
- Proficiency in English is a must, additional languages are a plus
