Hilti’s BIM Modeler is responsible for delivering modeling services on BIM projects and creating/modifying typical families based on existing Revit content provided by the Hilti’s BIM Competence Center, in collaboration with external BIM Modelers.

What does the role involve?
As the BIM Molder with Hilti, you will be responsible for supporting the BIM Project Manager and Lead Engineer with the assessment of the quality and availability of the information in the models provided by our customers while quoting and estimating modeling services for the particular projects. In addition, you will follow the framework provided by the BIM Project Manager and inclusive design service provided by the Lead Engineer to perform Hilti’s modelling services (modeling & output creation) based on modeling guidelines provided by the Project Management Office processes and in collaboration with External BIM Modelers.
You will be responsible for performing clash detection and resolving clashes within Hilti discipline, if possible, within provided technical design. Furthermore, you will perform QA/QC continuously to deliver BIM Modeling & BIM output services with high quality by following Hilti’s workflow and customer requirements.
In this role, you will actively collaborate with the wider Project Management Office team and functional counterparts throughout the Middle East, Turkey & Africa region. You will contribute to a professional, standardized portfolio of software supporting all modeling use-cases and ensure proper documentation while providing continuous feedback on areas to improve.

What you need is:
Bachelor’s Degree in Structural, Civil, Mechanical or Architectural Engineering; a Masters Degree is a plus
Minimum 2 years of experience in Revit
Solid knowledge in AutoCAD and Navisworks modeling
Knowledge in Inventor is preferable
Good understanding of overall building applications, with experience in BIM MEP
Understanding the correlation between technical and commercial aspects of engineering work and service offering
Track record of meeting deadlines while not compromising on quality
Interest in transfer of know how to others and sharing of competence with a solution-orientated mindset
Empathy and ability to work in multicultural environment
Proficiency in English – written and verbal
High learning agility and willingness to understand also small details if required
