Do you have experience of working in matrix management system with wide range of stakeholders such as technical advisors, country funding coordinators, regional business development manager and finance lead?

We are looking for a Bid Manager – HECA at a pivotal time of transition and change for the organisation.

What you’ll be doing:

The Bid Manager-HECA works closely with Oxfam Great Britain’s strategic priority countries in HECA region, Oxfam International regional team and staff from Oxfam Great Britain to bring together well-performing bidding teams to successfully pursue large grant and tender opportunities.

You’ll have:

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

  • Sound understanding of the institutional donor and partner landscape in HECA and familiarity with rules and regulations of public sector procurement.
  • Proven track-record in leading a broad range of bids/proposals, showing knowledge and experience in leading best practice across both grants and tenders and across a range of donor agencies and funding mechanisms.
  • Experience of working in matrix management system with wide range of stakeholders such as technical advisors, country funding coordinators, regional business development manager and finance lead.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including writing and editing quality proposal with input from technical experts.
  • Proven ability to analyse and synthesise complex issues.
  • Detailed oriented and analytical.
  • Ability to adapt and work within a multicultural, multilingual, and multidisciplinary environment.

Multiple locations in HECA countries preferably Kenya or other countries like DRC, Somalia, Ethiopia, South Sudan where Oxfam is an employing affiliate
