Contract Duration: Temp for 3 months to cover a leave

Job Description:

The Benefits Specialist will be involved in benefits administration, claims resolution, HRIS, benefit audits, reporting, and general project support.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as point of contact for leave of absence program. This includes meeting with employees to review the benefit, working with third party administrator on the leave of absence claim and updating internal HRIS and timecard system.
  • Serve as first point of contact for day to day employee questions via benefits team email inbox
  • Serve as first point of contact for day to day benefits administration
  • Tuition Reimbursement Program/Tracking for the US team (includes CFA/CAIA)
  • Update COBRA administrator of recently eligible employees including new hires and terminations
  • Receive, track and process all benefit related invoices on a weekly basis. Prepare and submit self-billed invoices for two vendors
  • Perform weekly audits of vendor file feeds and works closely with payroll team to process accurate semi-monthly payroll and benefit deduction reconciliation
  • Manage and assist with transportation programs for all offices through HRIS and third-party administrator
  • Assist employees with Workday benefit changes
  • Research and resolve employee benefit claims with appropriate vendor contact and escalate to Benefits Manager when appropriate

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years of Human Resources benefit administration experience, preferably in a professional services firm
  • Demonstrated commitment to the Human Resources field
  • Strong interpersonal, organization, communication skills, and strict attention-to-detail required
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Familiarity with Workday is preferred, HRIS experience is helpful
